General Requirements for Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitments.
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth or descent.
- Not less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age.
- Not less than 1.7 metres in height for male and 1.64 metres for female.
- Have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87 metres.
- Be certified by a Government Medical Officer to be physically and mentally fit for appointment into the Service.
- Not suffering from any form of mental or physical disability.
- Be free from any form of financial embarrassment.
- Be of good character and must not have been found guilty of any criminal offence.
Candidates with any of the following medical cases need not apply:
- Sight problem.
- Hearing difficulties.
- Previous major orthopedic operation.
- Flat foot.
- Fracture, stammering or any other natural disability
- Pregnant women.
Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment Academic Qualifications.
The requirements and qualifications you’re required to meet before applying for the recruitment are the following;
- You must be a citizen of Nigeria
- You must not be younger than 18 or older than 35 years old at the time of your application.
- You must be at least 1.65m tall (as a male) and 1.60m tall (as a female).
- You must have a means of identifying yourself, either by National ID, voter’s card, International Passport, etc.
- You must have a GCE, WASSCE, NABTEB or NECO certificate with at least 5 credits.
- If you have a Higher Degree, say OND, HND, BSc or MSc, you can also apply.
- You must be fit medically and able to show a medical fitness report from a federal government hospital.
- Your chest must be broad, and at least 0.87m in measurement.
How to Apply for NIS Recruitment 2023
(1). Interested candidates are to follow the “Online Application” link shown below. The Nigeria immigration recruitment portal (https://immigrationrecruitment.org/).
(2). Read the Qualification Criteria.
(3). Register your new account with a valid and functional email account.
(4). Enter your 6 digits email validation code as in the Application Start Menu to confirm.
(5). A verification link would be sent to your email/phone number.
(6). Login to your email/sms and click on the verification link or copy the verification code provide to complete sign-up.
(6a). Once account is activated, next step is to login and complete your application form.
(7). Upload & Add your profile (This will require a passport photo and your biography as in your curriculum vitae).
(8). Upload & Add your qualifications (WASSCE, and other certificates are entered here).
(9). Upload/Edit supporting Documents (Attach your Certificates here). THE NEXT OPTION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL ALL ABOVE STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN.
(10). Ensure to print out your Photocard on this portal once application get approval.
